Support The Show!

The Mason Fireworks show is prepared and presented completely free of charge by unpaid volunteers using a budget almost entirely funded by donations from members of the community like you. No tax dollars are spent directly on the show. If your family enjoys the show, and you would like to help us continue this great tradition, please make a donation.

Fireworks Facts:

The show will cost approximately $8,500 and is assembled and shot by 10 members of the Mason and Dansville Fire Departments who are certified by the Pyrotechnics Guild International.

Hiring a company to shoot the fireworks would cost roughly $20,000.

Since 2014, the show has been fired electronically.  It takes over 20 hours to program the show.

Members of the Mason Fire Department started shooting the show in 1976.

Chief Minshall was the lead shooter starting in 1993 until he became chief in 2007.  Lt. John Sabbadin has been the lead shooter since then.
